How to Apply

The Foundation coordinates with Stoneham Bank to consider and process requests for sponsorship and funding. The Foundation asks that applicants complete a funding request form found online at: https://www.stonehambank.com/about/get-to-know-us/giving-back Applicants will be asked to provide: (i) identifying information, including name, address, EIN, and proof of exempt status if requested; (ii) the amount of funding sought; (iii) a description of the purpose to be served by the grant, including its community impact; and (iv) how the recipient plans to acknowledge and account for any grants received.

On Unsolicited Proposals yes

Restrictions

Once applications for sponsorship and grant-funding are received, the Foundation and non-voting committees from the Stoneham Bank will review the applications to determine that any potential recipients further the Foundation's exempt purpose and advance causes that are of value to the community served by Stoneham Bank. The Foundation itself will only award funding to qualified charitable organizations. The Foundation prioritizes funding requests that impact: (i) affordable housing; (ii) community services; (iii) economic development; (iv) community revitalization and stabilization; and (v) projects that promote public services within economically underserved communities. Non-qualified charitable organizations seeking funding may coordinate with Stoneham Bank for private sponsorship, but will not receive funding from the Foundation.
