How to Apply

Applications must be emailed to janeandgarybf@gmail.com. After being nominated for the scholarship by a teacher, school administrator, or guidance counselor, students must submit an essay summarizing their ambitions and financial situation, along with their transcript and letters of support from two teachers.

Restrictions

Preference is given to graduating high school seniors, college students, and graduate students resident in/from Wolfe County, KY and the surrounding Appalachian region, who will attend college/university or graduate school and do not otherwise have the financial resources to attend college/university. Additional preference is given to students interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Recipients will be required to meet with a foundation representative twice yearly to discuss/assess academic performance.
