Restrictions

The Robert E. and Patricia A. Schmidt Foundation was established and is dedicated to the primary premise of improving the quality of life in the community of Hays and Ellis County. This commitment secondarily extends to those communities where the Schmidt family has operated farms, ranches, and other business enterprises in the broadcasting and broadband fields. Enhancement will mainly be supported in these four areas: education, healthcare, the arts, and economic development. After these needs are met, consideration can be given to projects of merit in the state of Kansas and needs in the fields of broadcasting and broadband. National and international disasters will also be given consideration as they might occur.
