Restrictions

The organization will distribute funds to other tax-exempt organizations or charitable pursuits which benefit school-age children, and any other religious, charitable, educational or scientific organizations or pursuits located in Kansas, with emphasis on those located in Salina and Saline County, Kansas. Preferential treatment will be given for contributions. The board of trustees will review all such requests and select the tax-exempt organizations which will receive distributions. The organizations selected and the timing of the distributions will be determined by the board of trustees. Some grants made to educational organizations may be earmarked for scholarships. In such circumstances, the selection of the recipient students will be made by the educational organization. There will be no limitations based on race, employment status of the prospective recipient, or family relationship of the prospective recipient.
