Restrictions

15% of the net income of the trust shall be distributed annually to Midwest Christian Services. 15% of the net income of the trust shall be distributed annually to one or more public schools located within the Cherokee Community School District or the former Aurelia Community School District. The remaining 70% of the net income of the trust shall be used for student loans to eligible seniors in the pursuit of their higher education. The trustee is also refinancing current student loans for eligible students. An eligible student shall reside in the Cherokee Community School District as defined at the time of graduation or the former Aurelia School District as defined as the Aurelia School District prior to its merger with the Alta School District. Students who are to be recipients of the funds will be selected based on academic ability, citizenship, and need.
