The application should also include the following: minimum gpa of 3.0 (unweighted) demonstrated swim coach experience for at least 2 years one swimming reference letter (for example, from a swim coach or leader in community) one character reference letter copy of sat/act scores official high school transcript acceptance to a 4-year college or university

Restrictions

The foundation will award an annual scholarship to a graduating high school senior. The CBSMF scholarship will be paid directly to the recipient's college or university to cover books and room/board expenses. It is anticipated that the scholarship will be in the amount of $1,250.00 and will be renewable each year for 4 years contingent upon the student remaining in good academic standing and following an annual meeting with the foundation's board. Prior award amounts were $1,000 annually.
