How to Apply

The parent and applicant must: - Have a 2.0 GPA. But most importantly, the desire to further his or her education. - The local high school has a list of graduating seniors and they contact them in person each year to notify them of the opportunity of the scholarship. - The approval of the scholarship is addressed at the board meetings and general meetings. - After the notification to the students, the scholarship committee conducts an interview. - A procedure for keeping up with the tracking of the students is done through the education foundation. - The scholarship committee has a minimum of four members at all times. The chairman will update the board monthly as to new applicants. - The committee meets each month that there is a new applicant(s). - The adult scholarship program has the same requirements as the high school applicants. - There is a liaison from the education foundation that leads the scholarship committee through the application process and the distribution of…
