We ask that all applicants submit an initial grant request. After an internal screening process some applicants will be asked to submit a more comprehensive grant request. The initial grant request must include the following information: - The organization's background - Amount requested - Brief description of specific projects for which funding is desired - Specific description of how this grant seeks to improve life opportunities for youth and families - Organization annual budget - Program or project budget - Contact information for the person who should be contacted regarding this request - List of the Board of Directors - The 501(c)(3) determination letter The initial grant request must be submitted through our online system.

Restrictions
Grants must be made to non-profit organizations with 501(c)(3) status or governmental units such as public schools or city departments or for inherently charitable activities. Grants are not made (I) to organizations whose primary purpose is religious, or (II) for propagandizing, influencing legislation and/or elections, promoting voting registration, for political candidates, political campaigns or organizations engaged in political activities; or (III) to federal appeals or to organizations that collect funds for redistribution to other non-profit groups.
