Restrictions

Preference will be given to 501(c)(3) organizations involved in programs for protecting and enriching the lives of women and children in the Long Beach area of Southern California, and particularly programs focusing on day care, education, housing, recreation, the arts and health care. The foundation does not make grants to individuals, political campaigns, lobbying efforts or any organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, creed, sexual orientation or national origin. The foundation is primarily interested in awarding grants in amounts up to $50,000. For grants of $25,000 or more, the foundation may elect to distribute the designated funds in a series of payments over the life of the project.
