The down payment assistance program is administered by Santiago Communities, Inc. (SCI) with underwriting guidelines approved by American Veterans Assistance Group of California (AVAG). Contact SCI at 714-744-4993 to request application information.

Restrictions
Individuals seeking participation in AVAG's programs must meet the following qualifications: a DD-214 veteran, spouse or widow of a DD-214 veteran, US Armed Forces active duty personnel. Applicants' annual household income shall not exceed the area median income. Personal property (bank accounts, stocks and bonds, etc.) may not exceed $20,000. The maximum down payment assistance benefit is $2,500 towards the purchase of a manufactured home. Applicants must first be approved to purchase a manufactured home through a licensed dealer. AVAG reserves the right to make exceptions to the above qualifications. Benefits are available as the funds are available to AVAG.
