Foundation will provide grants to nonprofits that focus on supporting youth development and educational opportunities for people of all ages. An organization must have been determined tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code and received a permanent or advance I.R.S. determination letter that describes the agency as a publicly supported charity as defined in sections 170(b)(1)(a)(6) or (a)(6) to be eligible for a grant from the It Kicks! Foundation. The foundation serves communities within Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine. Applicants must be located within this region to qualify for assistance.
