How to Apply

Cal Wellness accepts the online submission of letters of interest through a link on the Cal Wellness website at www.calwellness.org, that includes a 1 to 2 page description of the organization's mission and activities, the region and populations served, how the funds will be used and the total funds requested. If requesting project funding include project goals, leadership and duration.

On Unsolicited Proposals yes

Restrictions

Generally, public charities described in IRC 501(c)(3) or public agencies within California are funded. Grants should protect and improve the health and wellness of California residents by increasing access to health care, quality education, good jobs, healthy environments, and safe neighborhoods. Requests for core operating support are encouraged. The Foundation does not fund IRC Section 509(a)(3) type III, non-functionally integrated supporting organizations.
