Grants outside of our strategy are directed by the family and do not have the same limitations. To be eligible, grant applicants must be tax-exempt under IRC Section 501(c)(3) and not classified as a private foundation. Potential grantees can also submit applications through a sponsoring organization if the sponsor has 501(c)(3) status, is not a private foundation, and provides confirmation of its willingness to act as the fiscal sponsor.
